My name is Maria, and I consider myself a design chameleon. Born and raised in Puerto Rico, I moved to Cambridge, MA to study architecture at MIT. Upon graduating, I went on to work at Perkins & Will for almost 3 years. After a long introspective process, I realized building buildings was not my passion, so I decided to go back to school and here I am! During my time at Harvard I've become very interested in creating experiences through design, so last summer I did a UX Design & Research internship at T-Mobile! I am passionate about the intersection between design and the cognitive sciences, and my thesis will focus on the interactions between infants and technologically enhanced spaces...stay tuned for that!
